A Modern Perception : Designing Resistance in the Style of Shigeo Fukuda
Year
2024
Project information
This poster series reinterprets the visual language of Shigeo Fukuda to confront some of today’s most urgent issues: unchecked consumerism, the fight for a free Palestine, and the urgent need for environments designed with human experience at their core, not dictated by cars, profit, or impersonal systems.
Through sharp metaphor, intentional minimalism, and powerful use of negative space, each piece channels Fukuda’s spirit, transforming protest into visual poetry and design into a tool for empathy, resistance, and meaningful connection.
